Quality Control

Highest Quality Standards in the Industry

Pre-Inspection of Base Materials

Our experts and engineers pride ourselves in finding the highest quality metals around the world, and we make sure to triple check the materials before upgrading your equipment. If there are irregularities or surface defects, we do not use them in our process. We also make sure they meet the dimensional needs of the project and whatever we are plating. We also test the surface for any contaminants, oils, or impurities that could possibly decrease the quality of metal plating we apply to your machines.

Bath Chemistry Monitoring

We frequently check our plating solutions for any abnormalities in the chemical baths. We make sure to monitor all pH levels and adjust accordingly often. Maintaining a proper chemical balance in the bathing solution is necessary for a proper metal plating bath. To ensure uniform thickness in the metal plating we also measure the temperature actively, as a hot back can expand the metal, and it will not plate properly.

In-Process Inspection

We measure our plating job down to the micrometer by using X-ray fluorescence to measure the thickness of the metal plating. Different plating jobs require different thicknesses at different parts of the process depending on the material used and the equipment being plated.

Post-Plating Inspection

We run our finished products through a stringent test. Not only do we visually inspect the equipment, but we also have a period for microscopic inspection, to make sure the thickness of the plating is up to standards. This is to look for any surface defects that could lead to problems further down the line in the metal’s integrity.
